UNICEF 2015 Plan Highlights
• UNICEF will support the continued functionality of and treatment of water in water systems nationwide estimated to reach 16.55 million people through supply of chlorine and repair of water supply systems.
• Polio immunization campaigns will continue nationwide, with 3 national campaigns planned in the first semester of 2015, with further campaigns to be conducted if needed.
• To respond to rates of malnutrition priority areas will be targeted with screening and treatment for Acute Malnutrition, alongside provision of micronutrients nationwide.
• 2 million IDP of Out of School children will be targeted through the Self Learning programme.
• Children and caregivers will receive PSS, reintegration services and case management to respond to protection needs.
• Hard to reach and beiseiged areas will be prioritized through crossline and cross border interventions ensuring the most vulnerable receive lifesaving WASH, health, and nutrition supplies and are able to continue learning.
• No Lost Generation strategy to coordination action for Education, Child Protection and Adolescence
